Artist Lyonel Feininger and the Island of Usedom
The American painter and illustrator Lyonel Feininger was one of the leading artists of the German Bauhaus movement and his landscape paintings are also world famous. He spent much of his time sketching Weimar as well as the German island of Usedom. He especially loved exploring the Baltic Sea island with his bike. We look at his connection to the region.
